Honeybuns at Telford announce relocation plans!

Parents should now have received their letter regarding Telford’s relocation plans.

The team at Honeybuns Nursery are looking forward to a very exciting 2017. We are delighted to announce that Honeybuns is relocating to a new site early 2017.

Situated just a few hundred metres from our current Nursery, the former Grove Hotel at 17 Whitchurch Rd is a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian building. We have invested over £1 million to date and the building has offered us an amazing prospect to plan and design a bespoke nursery to provide your child with outstanding care and education.

Our new nursery has been restored in keeping with many of its original features with stunning, spacious rooms offering an exciting, safe and engaging learning environment both indoors and outdoors. The rooms have been designed to ensure that they are age appropriate and meet the development needs of each individual child. A stunning orangery has been installed creating direct access to a beautiful enclosed outdoor play area, to enjoy plenty of fresh air and exercise. The outdoor environment will be divided into safe secure play zones for pre-school children and toddlers to enjoy. Children will have the opportunity to play with sand and water, explore nature and planting in our nature zone, enjoy a picnic in our outdoor shelter, along with climbing and pedalling a variety of toys on our all weather play surface. Babies will have their own dedicated outdoor play area with soft surface and access to a wide range of toys and suitable activities.

Safety is always paramount at Honeybuns, we have installed CCTV in each room to enable nursery manager to monitor each area at all times. Entry to the nursery will be by intercom to each area operating a family password system. We have also ensured ample car parking for parents along with a pushchair shed and bike stands.

We hope that the move to our new nursery will take place over a weekend in February with minimal disruption to the children, ensuring that the staff will be there to welcome the children into their new nursery environment. Their play equipment, resources and familiar artwork will be in place to ensure a smooth and welcoming transition for the children, whilst maintaining our high standards of care.

We are really excited for you to see your new nursery building and will be hosting a number of open events early January 2017. Our nursery website and Facebook page will be kept updated with all the latest news and we will of course keep you informed on proposed dates as soon as confirmed.

If you have any queries regarding the relocation, please do not hesitate to speak to one of our nursery team, they will be happy to answer your questions.

Kind Regards

Alison Shipton
